HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ELLA

It seems like yesterday that we got married on June 28th, 1974 ; "It has been 45 wonderful years since we said; " We do" when Rabbi Yacov Rone married us at Or Shalom Synagogue with friends and family in attendance. When he told me that " I could kiss the bride" I was so happy to oblige that Cantor Yossi looked amazed at my exuberance.

You were the one who discovered that our future home was a small farm in Dorchester. When we drove up the long lane way with the listing in your hand you told me that " We are buying this place" which we subsequently did and named it "Shalom Acres."

Fast forward 45 years we have a lot of trouble and pain but with copious amounts of love we have flourished. Two children, four grandchildren, a pair of swans, "Sugar and Spice" on their Golden pond that they share with the Rainbow Trout that we raise just for the fun of it.

You have dillegently tended to your magnificent gardens filled with hundreds of giant Hosta/ Day Lilies that surround the pond and house. No weeds or sticks are to be allowed to inhibit the growth of the budding flowers. Every where you go your poodle, "Coco" goes with you only wanting to please you.

Watching you enjoy driving the tractor to make sure that the grass is always maintained is sure fun to watch.

The Y has become a must five days a week to take yet another class to keep you fit and very happy. Life with you has never been boring with you trying to solve everyone’s personal problems.

Some how you try and save some quality time for me with CBC programming starting at 5 a.m to the National News at 9.pm
